光輝性顔料による鮮やかな色漆の開発

漆液は，色が茶褐色であるため，白色系や青色系の漆塗膜は色味が鈍く，より色鮮やかな漆の開発が求められている。そこで，漆液に光輝性顔料を配合して，漆塗膜の明るさや色味の改善を検討した。その結果，酸化チタンをコーティングした雲母材を漆と配合することで，漆塗膜の明るさが向上し，色味を改善することができた。また，調合した漆塗膜の促進耐光性試験を行った結果，従来の塗膜より変色を低減できた。さらに，県内企業と光輝性顔料を配合した白漆と青漆の漆器を試作して，技術移転を図った。

Development of Brightly-colored Urushi Using Mica-pigments

Since the original color of lacquer-tree sap is dark brown, the colors of white and blue Urushi become dull, and the development of a more colorful Urushi is required. We aimed to improve the color brightness of lacquer film by adding glittering pigments to the Urushi. The brightness of the lacquer film was improved by blending mica coated with titanium oxide. Furthermore, a color fading test conducted by means of a xenon arc weathering instrument proved that the developed Urushi showed less discoloration than a traditional film. Subsequently, the developed Urushi was used by companies in our prefecture to produce brightly colored lacquerware.
